Started in the early
1950's, (formerly Ryan's Berry Farm) Blueberry
Lane Farm is a fully equipped and
operational, 80 acre, family-oriented business, located in southern
Delaware's Sussex County. Only a short, two hour drive from
Baltimore, Philadelphia, or Washington, D.C., the farm is within
easy reach of the east coast's population. We are also within 30
minutes of the Atlantic coast beach resorts on the Delmarva
peninsula To keep pace with increasing customer demand, over the
years we have expanded our plantings to now include a large variety
of blueberries. In addition to the farming operation, we
also produce a full line of jams, and preserves from the
fruit we grow on the farm. Make sure to pick up a copy of Mr. Ryans
last cookbook, also sure to please! These items are sold throughout the area,
as well as at the farm. Planted in the 1950's by Harrington and
Miles Messick, when blueberries were considered a significant crop
on the Delmarva peninsula, the blueberry field was expanded
gradually, until the last 3 acres were planted in about 1964. This
brought the total original berry field to approximately 50 acres.

Lane Farm offers you the
best-tasting blueberries at a reasonable price whether you want to
pick them yourself, buy them from us fresh or frozen, or buy them
wholesale to sell at your market or store. Blueberries are fun and
easy to pick. Our orchard is grassy and the bushes are pruned
to be accessible for everyone from toddlers to Seniors. We
provide buckets to pick in or bring your own to carry your
Blueberry Lane Blueberries home with you.

Along with
blueberries, the farm also offers blackberries, and kiwi. Now
owned and operated by Joseph and Lisa Webb & family, through our
commitment, experience, and expertise Blueberry
Lane Farm has established a business
relationship with our customers that will last a lifetime!
We enjoy meeting
our summer visitors and we welcome new friends! We monitor and
encourage perfection, from how our fruit is picked, through cleaning
handling and packing. With this dedication to detail, it's not hard
